Our roots.
Rightly Rooted began with a simple conviction: the land is not just something we use. It is something entrusted to us.
More than outdoor space.
Rightly Rooted exists to help restore the relationship between people and the land entrusted to them. Outdoor spaces can become more than maintained yards or decorative landscapes — they can become places of beauty, fruitfulness, hospitality, food, prayer, learning, restoration, and life.
We believe the land entrusted to us is meant to be cared for with wisdom, shaped with purpose, and cultivated in a way that helps people reconnect with God’s design for creation.

Founded by Christopher A. Reynolds.
Rightly Rooted was founded by Christopher A. Reynolds as an expression of a deeper calling — to help move vision into grounded, life-giving reality.
Christopher’s work brings together ministry, regenerative thinking, construction awareness, land stewardship, design, community transformation, and practical planning.
His heart is to help people see what a place could become — and then help translate that vision into a path that can actually move forward.
Why Rightly Rooted.
What is shaped above the ground depends on what is rooted below it.
That is true of plants. It is true of people. It is true of projects.
Rightly Rooted is built around the belief that good outdoor spaces need more than attractive features. They need the right foundation — clear purpose, wise stewardship, healthy soil, thoughtful design, practical planning, and long-term care.
Christ-centered stewardship.
The deepest foundation of Rightly Rooted is Christ-centered stewardship.
We believe creation belongs to God, and that people are called to cultivate, care for, and wisely steward what has been entrusted to them. That conviction shapes the way we listen, design, plan, and serve.
In faith-forward settings, that foundation can be spoken plainly. In broader settings, it is still present — through stewardship, beauty, usefulness, regeneration, hospitality, and right relationship with the land.

Not just ideas on paper.
Rightly Rooted is not built on theory alone. The work is informed by hands-on experience across construction, land stewardship, agriculture, natural building, design thinking, and practical project development.
That means the conversation can move between vision, site realities, materials, water, soil, planting, constructability, contractor language, phasing, and the practical questions that come up when an idea needs to become real.
Begin from the right foundation.
If you are carrying a vision for your home, land, church grounds, ministry property, garden, or community-facing space, Rightly Rooted can help you slow down, read the place well, and find the next faithful step forward.
The goal is not to rush from inspiration to installation. The goal is to shape something that can be understood, built, cared for, and matured over time.

Rooted in stewardship. Shaped with care.
The same root. Different fruit.
